Deathtrap 2018
Synopsis
Facing long-term writers' block and imminent bankruptcy, (despite his wealthy wife, Myra's assurance to the contrary), playwright, Sidney Bruhl, has received in the mail a script Deathtrap.He immediately recognises it as a potential and long-running New York blockbuster. He invites the fledgling author, Clifford Anderson, to their remote Connecticut cottage to discuss the script, and the ever-helpful Myra suggests a collaboration. Sidney jokes to her that if Clifford won't play ball then he will kill Clifford, bury the body in their vegie patch, and make Deathtrap all his own work.
